Dr Sophia Elmes
MB, BS, FRANZCOG, Obstetrician and Gynaecologist
Dr Sophia Elmes was born in Ipswich, grew up in South East Queensland and completed her secondary education at Ipswich Girls' Grammar School. She lives locally with her family and has strong ties with the local community. She graduated from the University of Queensland's Medical School in 1996 and commenced obstetric and gynaecology training working in the Royal Brisbane and Royal Women's Hospital, Mater Hospital, Mackay Hospital, Logan Hospital and Ipswich Hospital. She was granted Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2007 and commenced private practice in Ipswich in February 2007. Dr Sophia Elmes' rooms are located at The Terrace Medical Centre, Suite 4, 16 Limestone Street, Ipswich. She provides inpatient services privately through St Andrew's Hospital, Pring St, Ipswich. She is committed to the health and well-being of women through all stages of life and facilitates this by offering high quality, professional gynaecological and obstetric care in a modern, caring environment.
Sophia's other interests include photography, quilting and when time permits, travel.

Donna Egstorf
MA, CPMAAPM
Donna is our Practice Manager. She attended St Mary's College, Ipswich before completing her tertiary education through the University of Queensland and the University of New England where she was awarded Master of Arts, Ancient History. Donna has worked in the field for many years. She completed a Diploma in Practice Management in 2005 and is a certified Practice Manager of the Australian Association of Practice Managers. Donna will be able to look after aspects of your booking process and care.
